● Cancer of kidney
The diagnostics of the cancer of kidney is carried out by means of laboratory, ultrasonic, radioisotopic, roentgenological studies. In order to determine the tumor prevalence, distinguish a malignant tumor in kidney from benign formations in it as cysts, hemorrhages, definite forms of inflammations, the computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging are used. For the examination of kidney vessels angiography and venocavography are prescribed. The treatment of kidney cancer is carried out by the surgical treatment, radiofrequency ablation, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, target therapy, by means of hyperthermia and hyperglycemia. The most suitable method will be proposed after conducting the complete diagnostics.
● Cancer of pelvis of kidney and ureter
Common urine analysis, excretory urography, ultrasonic investigation of internal organs, computer tomography or magnetic resonance imaging, urethroscopy and biopsy with the subsequent histological investigation allow to diagnose cancer of pelvis of kidney or ureter according to the international classification of stages of malignant diseases (TNM – tumor, nodus, metastasis). The establishment of disease stages is necessary for planning the proper and successful treatment tactics.
● Cancer of urinary bladder
The main methods of investigation with cancer of urinary bladder are the laboratory urine analysis for atypical cells, cystoscopy, biopsy with the subsequent histological investigation. For the establishment of a stage of cancer of urinary bladder it is necessary to determine the presence or absence of tumor growth to the muscle layer of urinary bladder wall, tumor growth to nearby tissues and organs, presence of metastases. For the establishment of a cancer stage the blood count, ultrasonic examination of internal organs, computer tomography or magnetic resonance imaging are prescribed for the tumor discovery beyond urinary bladder, presence of metastases in lymph nodes and other organs. The treatment of cancer of urinary bladder depends on the tumor location, tumor type, presence of metastases, depth of tumor penetration to the urinary bladder wall, age and general state of a patient. The main methods of treatment are the surgical method, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy which are prescribed after the deep diagnostics of this disease.
